Growing up in 70’s/ 80’s when fast fashion did not exist and in a small Finnish town; sustainability and creativity became part of my nature. I learned that innovation comes out of mind not from store. Being a teenager with very limited cash flow but fierce drive to express own personality by looks, forced me to think outside of the box. Ever since I was styling myself for my neighbours birthday party at age of 6 with four layers of floral Indian cotton frill skirts which my grandmother had sewn and building an imaginary clothing store to my parents attic old stockings pinned on the walls, my career choice was made; use my imagination to produce vibrating visual outcome. Following that dream, I graduated 1997 from my fashion studies and now, after working in the industry for more than 20 years, I still have the eager to make things look beautiful and challenge myself with new experiences
